Sixteen years ago my fertility journey began. I started out like everyone else, expecting it to be easy, and then learned it wasn’t going to be so easy after all. I had no idea I would be facing years and years of time and energy on every fertility treatment available with no positive results. I spent tens of thousands of dollars on fertility drugs, IVF, and desperate measures. I felt that I was climbing a mountain, over and over again, but that I never could reach the top. I learned I had PCOS, not soon enough, and had not addressed the underlying insulin resistance throughout the majority of my fertility procedures because my doctors were not knowledgeable about PCOS or how to address it. When I did figure it out it was too late. The money was gone and I could not continue. After 10 years of trying, I gave up and accepted I would not be a biological parent. I began the Insulite PCOS System in November 2007. I wasn’t thinking about pregnancy or babies, I was just thinking about my overall health. I came across the Insulite website numerous times over the many months of researching PCOS trying to figure out what this disease is and it was only lately I decided to give it a try. The time was right for me. I knew in my heart I had to discover whether what they were saying is true and if it could really help me. And I’m here to say this decision changed my life.

I have struggled so long with PCOS and all the frustrating symptoms that go with it. In a final act of desperation I went online and found the Insulite Laboratories website. After reading it I felt pretty comfortable with trying it. Finally, after so many years of being told this is just who I am, I am seeing improvement.

I am thrilled to have found Insulite! I am 25 years old and was diagnosed with PCOS at age 18. I have suffered from years of hormonal imbalance, mood swings, estrogen dominance, and missed periods. My name is Cecilia and I’m writing to you from Finland. I was diagnosed with PCOS by a health care professional earlier this year. I have fought these symptoms with many methods, including healing, acupuncture, GDV-therapy, and Clomifen. I have also tried vitamins, herbs, yoga and meditation, and all kinds of hair removal treatments.
I started the Insulite PCOS System in mid-october 2008. I noticed an immediate response from my digestive system. I immediately started having a bowel movement every morning, which before had been every second evening. I felt that my digestive system was better and that my fatigue was largely lifted. It was no problem for me to exercise one hour every evening and plan and cook super-healthy meals, which added further to the lifting of my fatigue. I managed to limit my intake of coffee to five small cups a day. I will be starting the Insulite PCOS System as soon as I get rid of my bronchitis, hopefully in the next couple days. I would like to start off by saying I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 13 years old and I am now 26. I have dealt with excess hair growth and for a lot of women, as for myself, this the most embarrassing thing to talk about but I would just like to say ‘IT’S NOT OUR FAULT’. I have facial hair and I mean facial hair – it’s a full blown beard. I have chest hair, breast hair, and stomach hair. I have a couple of patches on my back. The funny thing is the only place I don’t have hair is on my hips and lower back, maybe because of the electric therapy I had when I was 17 due to lumbar back problems. I don’t have acne although for a lot of us ingrown hair looks just like it and I have a lot of it mostly on my chest and breasts. I am moody and have very low energy, although mentally I have tons.
I weigh 340 pounds and am 5’6” tall. I am pretty firm except under my arms and my lower stomach. Exercise is hard especially when you are the only one doing it. Motivation/competition is hard to find. The one thing that has really developed over the past year or so is inflammation, boy that is just outta control. I am so swollen, especially on my legs and feet. I apologize for being graphic but I want other women out there to know you are not the only one. I have read on the Internet of other women like me but I don’t know anybody else.

I am doing fabulous. I have lost 13 pounds and I don’t have the cravings for carbs. My periods are normal again and no more gaining 6-8 pounds every month. No more severe mood swings. I’ve cut my Metformin in half and the handfuls of hair aren’t coming out anymore.

I have been battling PCOS since the age of 25 and was blindsided by all of the side effects, hirsutism, weight gain, insomnia, hair loss, depression, carb cravings, and month long/absent periods. After having many doctors tell me it was normal, I was finally able to find a fertility specialist who diagnosed me properly. Even with the treatment he prescribed I was still not able to do anything about my weight gain and in order to keep my weight down I would have to literally starve myself for weeks at a time.
However, after a little over a month on the Insulite PCOS System I have been able to sleep through the night, the depression that would usually hit about two weeks before my period is now gone, I have more energy and….I have lost 10 pounds. I exercise and I have been able to eat just three meals a day with snacks…that was never possible before! My craving for sugar and carbs is almost completely gone and my period was normal….I’m just amazed by the Insulite PCOS System because it’s all natural which is what I prefer. I have taken many of the ingredients in the Insulite supplements before but didn’t experience any significant results.
